58-93-308. Qualification credit for specified training.
The division may adopt rules in collaboration with the board, and in accordance with Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act, that exempt an applicant from meeting all or a portion of the training requirements of Sectionor the experience requirements of Sectionfor licensure if the applicant:
(1) holds a criminal justice bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university;
(2) is certified to have successfully completed the state Peace Officers Standards and Training basic training course provided under Section; or 53-6-202
(3) provides adequate proof of having successfully completed a training or experience substantially similar to the training and experience required under Sectionor. 58-93-306 58-93-307
