63A-15-103. Local ethics commission permitted -- Filing requirements.
(1) A political subdivision, other than a municipality described in Section, a county described in Section, or a school district may establish a local political subdivision ethics commission within the political subdivision to review a complaint against a political subdivision officer or employee subject to. 10-3-1311 17-70-511 Title 67, Chapter 16, Utah Public Officers' and Employees' Ethics Act
(2) A political subdivision other than a school district may enter into an interlocal agreement with another political subdivision, in accordance with, to establish a local political subdivision ethics commission to review a complaint against a political subdivision officer or employee subject to. Title 11, Chapter 13, Interlocal Cooperation Act Title 67, Chapter 16, Utah Public Officers' and Employees' Ethics Act
(3) A person filing a complaint for an ethics violation of, shall file the complaint with: Title 67, Chapter 16, Utah Public Officers' and Employees' Ethics Act a local political subdivision ethics commission, if the political subdivision has established a local political subdivision ethics commission under Subsectionor; or (1) (2) the commission if the political subdivision has not established a local political subdivision ethics commission or is a school district. A political subdivision that receives a complaint described in Subsectionmay: (3)(a) accept the complaint if the political subdivision has established a local political subdivision ethics commission in accordance with Subsectionor; or (1) (2) forward the complaint to the commission: regardless of whether the political subdivision has established a local political subdivision ethics commission; if the political subdivision has not established a local political subdivision ethics commission; or if the complaint is regarding a member of a local school board as defined in Section. 53E-1-102
