63L-8-506. Right-of-way corridors -- Criteria and procedures applicable for designation.
(1) Utilization of a right-of-way in common is suggested to the extent practical in order to minimize adverse environmental impacts and the proliferation of separate rights-of-way.
(2) In designating a right-of-way corridor, the director shall take into consideration: national, state, and local land use policies; environmental quality; economic efficiency; national security; safety; good engineering and technological practices; and wildlife and wildlife habitat impacts.
(3) The director shall issue rules in accordance with, containing the criteria and procedures the DLM shall use in designating such a corridor. Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act
(4) An existing transportation or utility corridor may be designated as a transportation or utility corridor without further review.
