65A-8-203.1. Delegation of fire management authority.
(1) As used in this section, "delegation of fire management authority" means the acceptance by the division of responsibility for: managing a wildfire; and wildfire costs and wildfire prevention costs as defined in Section. 65A-8-217
(2) The division shall make rules, in accordance with, governing the process for delegation of fire management authority. Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act
(3) Upon delegation of fire management authority, the division and its named designee becomes the primary incident commander.
(4) The division may take action to recover costs described in Subsectionupon delegation of fire management authority. (1)(b)
