71A-6-103. State veterans nursing home -- Operation of homes -- Rulemaking authority -- Selection of administrator.
(1) The department shall, subject to the approval of the executive director: establish appropriate criteria for the admission and discharge of residents for each home, subject to the requirements in Sectionand criteria set by the VA; 71A-6-104 establish a schedule of charges for each home in cases where residents have available resources; establish standards for the operation of the homes not inconsistent with standards set by the VA; make rules to implement this chapter in accordance with; and Title 63G, Chapter 3, Utah Administrative Rulemaking Act ensure that the homes are licensed in accordance with, andU.S.C. (2) The department shall: appoint an administrator for each home; or approve the individual selected by the contract health care provider as the administrator at each home.
