75E-2-303. State grant requirements.
(1) Except as provided in Subsection, the department may not award a grant of state funds to an entity subject to, and not in compliance with, the reporting requirements described in Subsection. (2) 75E-2-210(5)
(2) The department may award a grant to an entity under Sectioneven if the entity is not in compliance with the reporting requirements described in Subsection. 75E-2-306 75E-2-210(5) Subsectiondoes not apply to the law enforcement reporting requirements for certain firearm data described in Section. (1) 53-25-502
(3) The department may not award a grant of state funds to an entity subject to the requirements described in Sectionsand, if the department has determined, after receiving a recommendation described in Subsectionfrom the Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice, that the entity is not eligible to receive state grant funds under this section. 53-21-102 53-21-104.3 75E-3-202(1)(i)(ii)
