76-17-201. Definitions.
As used in this part:
(1) "Kickback or bribe" means a rebate, compensation, or any other form of remuneration, that is: direct or indirect; overt or covert; or in cash or in kind.
(2) "Kickback or bribe" does not include: a fee that is: shared between two or more individuals, each of whom is licensed to practice law; and charged for services provided in the individual's capacity as a licensee described in Subsection; or (2)(a)(i) payment for medical services rendered.
