76-8-420. Removing or damaging a road sign.
(1) Terms defined in Sectionsandapply to this section. 76-1-101.5 76-8-101
(2) An actor commits removing or damaging a road sign if the actor intentionally or knowingly removes or damages: a milepost, milestone, or guidepost erected on a highway; or an inscription on a milepost, milestone, or guidepost.
(3) A violation of Subsection (2) is a class B misdemeanor.
