76-9-1304. Unlawful disposal of carcass or offal.
(1) Terms defined in Sectionsandapply to this section. 76-1-101.1 76-9-1301
(2) An actor commits unlawful disposal of carcass or offal if the actor: puts the carcass of a dead animal, or the offal from a slaughter pen, corral, or butcher shop, into a river, creek, pond, street, alley, or public highway, or road in common use; or attempts to destroy by fire the carcass of a dead animal, or the offal from a slaughter pen, corral, or butcher shop, within one-fourth of a mile of a city or town.
(3) A violation of Subsectionis a class B misdemeanor. (2)
