77-19-204.5. Procedures on finding of competency to be executed.
(1) If an inmate is found competent to be executed at any time during a proceeding under this chapter, the court shall immediately transmit a certificate of the findings to the Board of Pardons and Parole and the Department of Corrections.
(2) Upon a finding that the inmate is competent to be executed: any stay imposed by the court is automatically lifted as described in Utah Rules of Criminal Procedure, Rule 27; and except as provided in Subsection, the court shall draw and deliver another warrant of execution, with a copy of the certificate of findings, in accordance with Section. 77-19-8(4) 77-19-6
