77-42-103. Duties.
(1) The attorney general shall: develop and operate a system to collect, analyze, maintain, and disseminate information on offenders; and make information listed in Sectionavailable to the public. 77-42-104
(2) Any prosecuting attorney who obtains a conviction for an offense listed in Sectionshall: 77-42-105 inform the attorney general within 45 business days of sentencing; and in a manner prescribed by the attorney general, cooperate with a request for information by the attorney general.
(3) The attorney general shall: provide the following additional information when available: the crimes for which the offender has been convicted; a description of the offender's targets; and any other relevant identifying information as determined by the attorney general; maintain the Utah White Collar Crime Offender Registry website; and ensure that information is entered into the offender registry in a timely manner.
