80-6-307. Dispositional report required in minors' cases -- Exceptions.
(1) A juvenile probation officer, or other agency designated by the juvenile court, shall make a dispositional report in writing in all minors' cases in which a petition has been filed, except in cases involving violations of traffic laws or ordinances, violations of wildlife laws and boating laws, and other minor cases.
(2) When preparing a dispositional report and recommendation in a minor's case, the juvenile probation officer, or other agency designated by the juvenile court, shall consider the juvenile disposition guidelines, as defined in Section, and any other factors relevant to the disposition designated in the juvenile disposition guidelines. 75E-4-101
(3) Where the allegations of a petition filed under Sectionare denied, the investigation may not be made until the juvenile court has made an adjudication. 80-6-305
