Remedies cumulative.

(1) Remedies provided by this chapter are cumulative and do not affect the availability of remedies under other law or the recognition of a foreign support order on the basis of comity.(2) This chapter does not:(a) Provide the exclusive method of establishing or enforcing a support order under the law of this state; or(b) Grant a tribunal of this state jurisdiction to render judgment or issue an order relating to child custody or visitation in a proceeding under this chapter.[ 2015 c 214 s 3; 2002 c 198 s 104.]Notes:Effective date—Conflict with federal requirements—Waiver—2015 c 214: See notes following RCW 26.21A.010.Denial of waiver—2015 c 214: See note following RCW 26.21A.115.Effective date—2002 c 198: See RCW 26.21A.900.
