Transit-oriented development—Grant program.

Subject to appropriation, the department must establish and administer a grant program to assist cities in providing:(1) The infrastructure necessary to accommodate development at transit-oriented development densities within station areas, including water, sewer, stormwater, and transportation infrastructure and parks and recreation facilities;(2) Station area planning or other predevelopment costs necessary for implementation of station area plans; and(3) The staffing necessary to implement transit-oriented development requirements.[ 2025 c 267 s 4.]Notes:Findings—2025 c 267: See note following RCW 36.70A.840.
