Development of electric power resources—Cooperation with governmental units.

The director may represent the state and aid and assist the public utilities therein to the end that its resources shall be properly developed in the public interest insofar as they affect electric power and to this end he or she shall cooperate and may negotiate with Canada, the United States, the states thereof and their agencies to develop and integrate the resources of the region.[ 2009 c 549 s 5087; 1988 c 127 s 9; 1965 c 8 s 43.21.230.
