Liability to persons other than shippers or passengers—Limitation.

The right of action extended by this chapter is applicable to loss or damage of property and/or personal injury or death resulting from the operation of ferries or terminals by the department to persons other than shippers or passengers, but any recovery of damages in such cases shall not exceed an amount equal to the limitations of the insurance carried by the department to insure it against loss for such liability.[ 1984 c 7 s 318; 1961 c 13 s 47.60.240.
