Waiver of postgraduate educational requirements—Mental health professionals.

The department shall waive postgraduate educational requirements applicable to mental health professionals under this chapter for those persons who have a bachelor's degree and on June 11, 1986:(1) Are employed by an agency subject to licensure under this chapter, the community behavioral health services act, in a capacity involving the treatment of mental illness; and(2) Have at least ten years of full-time experience in the treatment of mental illness.[ 2019 c 325 s 1017; 1986 c 274 s 10.]Notes:Effective date—2019 c 325: See note following RCW 71.24.011.
