Appointment of personnel.

The director may appoint such personnel as necessary, none of whom shall be members of the rehabilitation council for the blind. The director and other personnel who are assigned substantial responsibility for formulating agency policy or directing and controlling a major administrative division, together with their confidential secretaries, up to a maximum of six persons, shall be exempt from the provisions of chapter 41.06 RCW.[ 2003 c 409 s 5; 1983 c 194 s 5.]Notes:Findings—2003 c 409: See note following RCW 74.18.010.
