Combining orders, unitization programs and well spacing—Authority of department.

The department has the authority, through rules and regulations, to promulgate combining orders, unitization programs, and well spacing, and establish proportionate costs among owners or operators for the operation of such units as the result of said combining orders, if good and sufficient reason is demonstrated that such measures are necessary to prevent the waste of geothermal resources.[ 1974 ex.s. c 43 s 16.
