Director—Delegation of powers and duties—Responsibility.

The director may delegate any power or duty vested in or transferred to the director by law, or executive order, to the assistant director or to any of the director's subordinates; but the director shall be responsible for the official acts of the officers and employees of the department.[ 1997 c 156 s 2; 1967 ex.s. c 26 s 5.]
