16.5186 Transfers involving the local government fund. (1) On July 1, 2024, the secretary shall transfer from the general fund to the local government fund the amount specified under s. 25.491 (1) (a). (2) Beginning in fiscal year 2024-25, on the 2nd Monday in July in each fiscal year, the secretary shall transfer from the general fund to the local government fund 15 percent of the amount specified under s. 25.491 (1) (b) and (c). On the 2nd Monday in November in each fiscal year, the secretary shall transfer from the general fund to the local government fund 85 percent of the amount specified under s. 25.491 (1) (b) and (c).
