234.12 Same; personal liability of members of authority. Neither the members of the authority nor any person executing the notes or bonds shall be liable personally on the notes or bonds or be subject to any personal liability or accountability by reason of the issuance thereof. 234.135 Same; purchase; cancellation. (1) The authority may purchase any notes or bonds of the authority. The authority may hold or sell, in whole or in part and separately or together with other notes or bonds of the authority, notes or bonds purchased under this subsection. (2) Subject to such agreements with noteholders or bondholders as may then exist, any notes or bonds purchased and held by the authority under sub. (1) may, upon the affirmative designation of the authority, be canceled, in whole or in part, at the time specified in the authority’s designation. History: 2017 a. 277; 2021 a. 238 s. 45.
