480.26 Penalties. (1) Any person who violates this chapter or any rule promulgated under this chapter may be fined not more than $1,000 or imprisoned for not more than 6 months or both. (2) In addition to or in lieu of the penalties under sub. (1) and the remedies under s. 480.24, any person who violates this chap-

ter or any rule promulgated under this chapter may be required to forfeit not more than $1,000 for each separate offense. Each day of continued violation constitutes a separate offense. History: 1993 a. 102.
