84.1031 (2), 84.1034 (2), 84.1036 (2), 84.1039 (2), and 84.1041 (2), the department shall bear the cost, in an amount not to exceed a total of $2,000 per year on a statewide basis, of such maintenance and shall only perform maintenance under this section in amounts above that sum to the extent that the department has received local or private funding for such maintenance.
