Name or number of newly created district. In all cases, where a school district created by the action of the boundary board has been created from the territory of preexisting school districts, or the territory formerly belonging to a school district is annexed to a preexisting district, the district boundary board shall designate a descriptive name and a number for the newly created district or the district to which territory was added.
