Financial responsibilities of transportation network companies and drivers. (a) A driver, or a transportation network company on the driver's behalf, shall maintain a motor vehicle liability policy that recognizes the driver is a transportation network company driver or otherwise uses a vehicle to transport riders for compensation and covers the driver: (i) While the driver is available to receive requests for prearranged rides; and (ii) ride.
