Assurance of discontinuance

W.S. § 40-14-609 — under Chapter 14 — Wyoming Uniform Consumer Credit Code.

W.S. § 40-14-609

Assurance of discontinuance. If it is claimed that a person has engaged in conduct subject to an order by the administrator (W.S. 40-14-608) or by a court (W.S. 40-14-610 through 40-14-612), the administrator may accept an assurance in writing that the person will not engage in the conduct in the future. If a person giving an assurance of discontinuance fails to comply with its terms, the assurance is evidence that prior to the assurance he engaged in the conduct described in the assurance.
