Office of state lands and investments; director appointed; structure. (a) As part of the reorganization of Wyoming state government there is created the state land and farm loan office consisting of the programs and functions specified in this section. From and after April 1, 1997, the state land and farm loan office shall be known and referred to as the office of state lands and investments. (b) The administrative head of the office shall be a director appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate.
