Jin Jing Group is located in Zibo, Shandong Province — a city with a glass and ceramics tradition dating to at least the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD), when Zibo's Boshan district was a major center for Chinese glass, porcelain, and artistic crafts. The Boshan glass-making tradition (producing colored glass decorative objects, glass snuff bottles, and artistic glass) is documented across 1,400 years of Chinese cultural history. Modern industrial flat glass production in Zibo emerged from this craft heritage and the coal resources of Shandong that made industrial furnaces economical. Jin Jing Group represents the transition of Zibo's ancient glass tradition into 21st-century solar energy infrastructure — from hand-blown decorative glass to float lines producing solar PV cover glass for utility-scale solar farms.
