WP Suspension is the in-house suspension arm of the KTM group (alongside Husqvarna and GasGas) — KTM bought into WP in 1997 and took majority control by 1999. So while rivals buy suspension from the Showa/KYB duopoly or premium Öhlins, KTM vertically integrates its own ride quality through WP, owning a ride-defining system outright rather than outsourcing it (while also selling WP to the wider aftermarket).
