Camlin Fine Sciences Dahej Vanillin Plant
6,000 MT/year vanillin/ethyl vanillin plant; commercial production from early 2023. Vertically integrated with Camlin's catechol plant at same Dahej site (catechol → guaiacol → vanillin). Positioned as India-based non-China alternative for US/EU buyers. Dahej is a major Gujarat petrochemical and chemicals SEZ. This is the first major vanillin greenfield outside China in decades.
