Colonial Pipeline Atlanta GA Distribution Hub (Doraville)

Colonial Pipeline's major mid-system distribution terminal and operations hub in the Atlanta GA metro area (Doraville/Tucker). Atlanta is the primary petroleum product distribution center for the Southeast; this terminal receives fuel from the Gulf Coast refineries via Colonial and redistributes to Georgia, Tennessee, and surrounding states. During the May 2021 shutdown, Atlanta metro area gas stations ran dry within 2–3 days, triggering the most visible consumer shortage of the Colonial incident.
