Digital Alert Systems Design Center (Newark NY)

Digital Alert Systems engineering and firmware development center in Newark, Wayne County NY. DASDEC software and firmware development occurs here — including the IPAWS CAP integration, EAS authentication protocols, and security patch development for deployed DASDEC-II units. After Monroe Electronics acquired Digital Alert Systems, the Newark facility was retained as the engineering base for the DASDEC product line. Firmware developed at Newark is deployed to ~tens of thousands of DASDEC units at US broadcast stations via software update.
