AB Mauri / Fleischmann's Yeast — Maumee Ohio Plant

AB Mauri's primary US baker's yeast production facility in Maumee, Ohio, producing Fleischmann's Yeast products (active dry, RapidRise instant, fresh compressed yeast) for the North American retail and food service markets. Fleischmann's is the dominant US consumer yeast brand, introduced to America in 1868 by Charles Fleischmann from Vienna at the Cincinnati Centennial Exposition. Despite owning the most recognized consumer yeast brand in the US, AB Mauri's parent company Associated British Foods is rarely recognized by American consumers as the owner.
