Saint-Gobain Silicon Carbide Abrasive Production (Global)
Saint-Gobain retains SiC abrasive grain production and bonded abrasive operations after spinning off the crude SiC business (now Fiven/Kymera). Saint-Gobain uses SiC grain in its Abrasive Solutions division globally. Historical SiC smelting at Kempten, Bavaria (now ESK-SIC lineage). Current operations focus on downstream SiC abrasive tools and bonded products.
