Group14 Technologies' BAM-1 (Battery Active Material) production facility in Moses Lake, Grant County, Washington. Produces silicon-carbon composite anode material (SCC55) — the primary commercial-scale non-China synthetic graphite substitute in North America. Moses Lake selected for access to cheap hydroelectric power (Columbia River basin; ~$0.03/kWh industrial rate) critical for energy-intensive silicon-carbon synthesis.
