Intel Ohio Two Fabs (New Albany, Ohio) — Intel 18A
Intel's New Albany, Ohio campus — the largest semiconductor manufacturing investment in US history ($20B, expandable to $100B for up to 8 fabs). Targets Intel 18A (1.8nm-class, RibbonFET GAA + PowerVia backside power delivery). Under construction as of 2025. Full production originally targeted 2025–2026; delayed amid Intel's financial challenges and 18A yield struggles (~10% yield, August 2025). Intel Ohio is the centerpiece of the CHIPS Act's domestic advanced node strategy but faces significant execution risk.
