KLK OLEO Duisburg Oleochemical Plant (Germany)

KLK OLEO's European manufacturing facility in Duisburg, Germany (formerly part of KLK's acquisition of Cognis's oleochemical businesses) processes palm kernel oil-derived fatty acid streams for European markets. The Duisburg site produces refined fatty acids and specialty oleochemical derivatives (esters, amides, ethoxylates) for German and broader European personal care, cleaning, and industrial customers. KLK OLEO's European presence (Duisburg Germany + Rotterdam Netherlands operations) allows it to supply BASF, Henkel, and other European personal care chemical companies with locally processed C12/C14 fatty acids, reducing the lead time and working capital requirements of Asian-origin imports.
