MilliporeSigma (Merck KGaA) manufacturing facility in Jaffrey, NH producing pharmaceutical-grade sterilizing membrane filters and filter devices for the US market. The Jaffrey site represents US domestic production capacity for Durapore and Millipore Express membranes — providing some geographic redundancy to the Cork, Ireland primary site. Jaffrey is one of the original Millipore Corporation manufacturing locations (Millipore was founded in Bedford, MA in 1954 and acquired by Merck KGaA in 2010 for $7.2B).
