Noramco's Athens, Georgia facility is the primary US manufacturing site for buprenorphine API and other Schedule I/II controlled substance APIs (fentanyl, methadone, hydrocodone). DEA bulk manufacturer registration. Annual buprenorphine production under DEA-approved quota that expanded significantly during opioid epidemic response — DEA increased buprenorphine quota from ~7,000 kg in 2012 to ~27,000 kg by 2020.
