Samsung SDI Cheonan Cylindrical Cell Plant (South Korea)
Samsung SDI's Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, South Korea manufacturing facility produces cylindrical lithium-ion cells — primarily 18650 and 21700 format — for laptop computers and power tools. Consumer LCO cylindrical cells (for laptop batteries) are produced here alongside NCA/NMC cells for EV packs.
