Wilmar International's oleochemical operations in Johor, Malaysia (Tanjung Langsat Port Industrial Area and related facilities near Pasir Gudang) produce fatty acids, fatty alcohols, glycerol, and biodiesel from palm kernel oil and palm oil feedstocks. Wilmar's Malaysian oleochemical segment is a major global supplier of C12/C14 fatty acids to surfactant producers, soap manufacturers, and personal care ingredient companies. The Tanjung Langsat industrial area is a dedicated chemical and petrochemical zone with dedicated port berths for liquid bulk cargo — optimized for oleochemical export.
