The Secretary in charge must give reserve units the armed forces' supplies, services, and facilities he thinks they need to support and grow. If it is in the United States' best interest, he may give those items without charging the unit’s appropriation. The Army or Air Force Secretary may give extra supplies to the Army National Guard or Air National Guard beyond what title 32 sections 702, 106, or 107 provide, also without charge. Supplies given this way can be taken back or reassigned by the Secretary.
