Summary

The President can cancel a Space Force officer’s promotion to brigadier general if the officer has served in that rank for less than 18 months after being promoted. If the promotion is canceled, the officer goes back to the rank of colonel. When that happens, the officer keeps the same place on the Space Force officer list they would have had if they had never served as a brigadier general.
