Title 10 › Subtitle Subtitle A— General Military Law › Part IV— SERVICE, SUPPLY, AND PROPERTY › Chapter 131— PLANNING AND COORDINATION › § 2205
Payments under 31 U.S.C. 1535 and 1536, or other payments between Defense departments or by Defense personnel for services or supplies, can be added into the correct DoD accounts. Money added this way can be used for the same time period as the account it goes into. The Treasury will record that account as a single fund. The Secretary of Defense and the military department secretaries can set a fixed charge to cover planning, supervision, administration, or overhead for construction, maintenance, repair, or other facility services, no matter which appropriation pays.
