Landlords or other eligible housing providers must give anyone wanting to rent a unit a seven-year summary of maintenance at least five business days before asking them to sign a lease. If that person asks for more details, the provider must give all maintenance records they have within two business days. A tenant who did not get the info while a prospective renter can request it and must receive it within five business days. "Maintenance" includes renovations.
