Title 10 › Subtitle Subtitle A— General Military Law › Part IV— SERVICE, SUPPLY, AND PROPERTY › Chapter 173— ENERGY SECURITY › Subchapter III— GENERAL PROVISIONS › § 2927
United States Transportation Command must manage and deliver bulk fuel for the Department of Defense around the world. That change begins during the period from January 1, 2023, to February 1, 2023, and continues permanently. The USTRANSCOM commander must coordinate with the Director of the Defense Logistics Agency. If any of the fuel duties were already a specific job of Defense Logistics Agency Energy before January 1, 2023, this does not reduce other DLA Energy roles and does not require DLA Energy to transfer its functions, people, or equipment to USTRANSCOM.
