Requires the Secretary of Defense or another DoD official to tell Congress at least 30 days before ending or canceling a contract when that action will cause a loss of at least 50 contractor workers at remote or isolated military sites, or at least 100 contractor workers in total (including those at remote sites). The notice must include how the cancellation will affect members of the armed forces. The Secretary can waive the 30-day rule for national security reasons, but then must send the notice within one week after the cancellation. Definitions: "remote or isolated installation" — a military base the Secretary has marked as remote under the FY2022 NDAA policy. "Remote or isolated installation contractor employee" — a contractor worker who serves that base and lives nearby.
