Title 10 › Subtitle Subtitle B— Army › Part III— TRAINING › Chapter 753— UNITED STATES MILITARY ACADEMY › § 7452
The Superintendent of the Academy must, with the Secretary of the Army’s approval, make rules that say what hazing is, try to stop it, and set punishments like suspension or expulsion. If a cadet facing a hazing charge that could lead to expulsion asks in writing for a general court-martial, the cadet cannot be expelled except by the sentence of that court. A cadet expelled for hazing cannot be reappointed to the Corps of Cadets and cannot become a commissioned officer in the regular Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Space Force until two years after their class graduates.
