§7776 Emergency Construction: Fortifications

Summary
During an urgent emergency, the President may allow a temporary fort or other defensive structure to be built on private land, but only if the landowner gives written permission.

If in an emergency the President considers it urgent, a temporary fort or fortification may be built on private land if the owner consents in writing.
